It’s the story of a stony wall, which stood straight be it winter or fall.

Years went by in days and nights, it faced all but didn’t give up the fight.

It saw people sobbing all alone, supported them when they had no one to belong.

Though it was just a stony wall, but still had feelings more than anybody of us all.

It never had a heart of its own, which helped it bridge the divide and treat everybody as one.

It saw lovers make out in its shade, when things got quite it smiled at their fate.

It thanked the god for its tedious fate, felt good about itself for not having those human traits.

Being stationary did no good, as world moved around and it had swinging moods.

Earth trembled under and sky gave a thunder, cracks developed around and it was ready to surrender.

It was time to be free from all those misery, but still it held tight and never gave up the fight.
